Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is a means of rebuilding a patient’s smile, one component at a time. The reconstruction process is not merely to better the aesthetic appearance, but also to improve dental health and function. The perfect smile can boost confidence or even change lives. Here at Grace Dental Arts, we carefully address each factor to achieve the optimal smile. Grace Dental Arts focuses on the following three factors when considering cosmetic treatment: Dental Health, Function & Appearance.
Dental Health
Dental health is the most important component in your smile - it is the foundation of function and appearance. Gum disease, cavities and other oral health complications can lead to tooth loss, bone loss, infections, and other undesirable consequences.
Function
The mouth’s primary function is for digestion and communication, but it may be negatively affected by impairments of the teeth, joints and muscles. Malocclusion is a condition in which teeth do not come together properly. If you have a malocclusion, you may experience TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder) symptoms, such as chronic headache, neck & shoulder pain, crepitus, and tinnitus. By restoring the health of the teeth and implementing bite correction treatment, we can better prepare your teeth for aesthetic restorations.
Appearance
The final stage is often the most exciting. It is during this time that cosmetic procedures are used to restore teeth to a natural and radiant smile you can't help but show off. We use a variety of cosmetic treatments including teeth whitening, composite fillings, porcelain inlays & onlays, crowns, veneers and cosmetic contouring.
